Bobcat T40140 with remote control26Operation and Maintenance ManualT40140 SPECIFICATIONSStabilisers and cant and side offset correction (CSOC):The front axle (3) and the two stabilisers (4) are attached to a structure which is independent (2) of the frame (1). This structure is connected to the frame by two rods (5); the unit forms a deformable parallelogram. A jack (6) con-trols the relative movement between these elements and enables correction of the boom’s side cant in addition to the tyres and stabilisers. On each side of the central posi-tion, this correction is 4° between bearings.Figure 19This device should be used to return the boom to a vertical plane if the ground is not horizontal. The machine is fitted with a pendulum which permanently indicates the CSOC management system the direction of the absolute vertical in the transverse direction. Based on this information, the CSOC management system prohibits or limits certain machine operations. In what follows, it is appropriate to name:• “A” the angle between the boom and the frame, in thelongitudinal direction.Figure 20• “B” the angle between the boom and the absolute verti-cal (AV), in the transverse direction.Figure 21When the boom is raised by an angle A of less than 50°, the whole stroke of each stabiliser or CSOC is available. We recommend that you do not exceed an angle B = 4°, in particular when angle A is almost 50°.The boom lifting movement will be made inoperative when the boom reaches an angle A = 50°and when it is not in the zone where angle B is between 2° to the right and 2° to the left. In order to raise the boom by angle A over 50°, it will have to be returned to the zone where angle B is between 2° to the right and 2° to the left. This manoeuvre can be carried out either with the CSOC, or with the stabilisers.6524139370493705VAB93706
